The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education will conduct the LAW Common Entrance Test-2021 (LAWCET-2021) for those candidates who want to take admission into the 3 Year / 5 Year LL.B Regular Courses in the Colleges of Law in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2021. The application form will be available in the month of March 2021. By qualifying this exam candidates will be able to take admission into the various government and private law colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

AP LAWCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates seeking admissions to law courses on the basis of AP LAWCET exam need to fulfil the eligibility criteria as under: 

Course level Eligibility Criteria 
Five-year Integrated LLB course
  • Candidates should have completed their two-year Intermediate examination/ Class 12th or equivalent from a recognised university or Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh
  • They should have secured at least 45% marks in Class 12th examination.
  • Those belonging to the BC category need to have at least 42% marks and those belonging to SC/ ST category need to have at least 40% marks in the qualifying exam.
Three-year LLB course
  • Candidates should have completed their graduation or postgraduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university 
  • The minimum qualifying marks for general category candidates are 45%, for BC category are 42% marks and for SC/ ST category candidates, the qualifying marks are 40%/.
