- The first two years of the program are devoted to topics which all Engineering undergraduates should study i.e. common subjects
- In the third and fourth years, there is scope for specialisation into one of six branches of engineering: Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Information and Mechanical
- Students may have the opportunity to study overseas in their final year as a part of an exchange. Exchange agreements are currently in place with Princeton University, USA and the National University of Singapore (NUS)
- The course is accredited every four years by the major engineering institutions in respect of the initial requirements for the designation of chartered engineer
Class 12th
- Year XII qualification, studied with either the CBSE or ISC examination boards, with an achievement of 90% in each of the five subjects studied
- Science subjects may also require that candidates take the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) entrance examinations as a pre-condition for entry
- Subject Required: Mathematics and Physics
